Prior to establishing Instructor & Examiner training courses in 1999, Tony Kember held the position of Civil Aviation Authority Chief Flight Examiner for 9 years. Tony established Examiner Training21, which provides training courses for Flight Instructors & Examiners that concentrate upon the modern teaching and examining techniques required for the 21st century. With a background of both military and civil training as well as commercial air transport, the training courses are unique. Add to this the expertise of Atlantic Training Support with a number of very experienced Examiners and Instructors who provide the training and we have a team that is thoroughly professional and enthusiastic about establishing the highest standards and able to offer the ideal quality-training package.

Atlantic Training Support is part of the long established Air Atlantic, and Atlantic Flight Training based at Coventry which has conducted training for Professional pilot licences for many years and which operate a fleet of modern training aeroplanes as well as providing training courses for some unique transport aircraft.

“The standard of pilots depends upon the standard of Instructors and Examiners”

The training conducted at Examiner Training 21 is approved by the UK CAA for the Class Rating Examiner Authorisation including Instrument Rating revalidations and Operator Proficiency checks. Training can be arranged for different aeroplane Types and Classes including Single/Multi engine Piston; Multi engine Turbine Propeller and Multi engine turbine (VLJ).
Our aim is to instil and maintain the highest standards for our Examiner and Instructor graduates and to establish an Instructor and Examiner standard that is recognised world wide.

Capt Tony Kember

Examiner Training 21 is based at Bournemouth, and Coventry, training however may be arranged at other locations depending upon the Type/Class of aeroplane operated and availability of suitable training equipment. ET21 also pleased to announce that applicants who require training for Turbo-Prop aeroplane operations can now make use of a FNPT based on a King Air 200. In addition ET21 can include Single pilot/Multi pilot Turbine course (VLJ) in collaboration with Atlantic Training Support at Coventry using a Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ) FNPT .

Flight standards can only be maintained if the training of Instructors and Examiners is conducted and monitored to the highest possible level and in this respect training and the credibility of pilots trained with Examiner Training 21 & Atlantic Training Support is recognised as the best
