Charges
The TOTAL COST
of the Examiner Courses including all course material and
aeroplane/STD charges are as follows:-

included in the cost?

Aeroplanes/Simulator
(FNPT) |
INCLUDED |
Suitable Aeroplane/STD (normally a PA28 Warrior or Beech Sierra,
Beech Duchess BE76, STD is either a Beech Duchess BE76, PA44
Seminole or Beech 200 King Air) ‘Approved’ under CAA requirements
will be made available unless applicants wish to provide their own
‘Approved’ aeroplane or STD. If providing your own aeroplane the
navigation, airfield and fuel charges will be the responsibility of
the aeroplane owner or operator. Training costs will be adjusted
accordingly.
Aeroplane charges include all flying charged on the basis of
Chock-to-Chock time calculated from Take Off to Landing time plus a
flat rate of 0.3 hrs. The inclusion of the flat rate charge
safeguards students against non-productive delays on the ground that
may be caused by ATC or other traffic.
Charges for courses where applicant provides the Aeroplane or
Synthetic Training Device (STD) are available on request |

One
approach/landing per sortie at Bournemouth Airport is included.
Additional charges i.e. Euro-charges or other airfields
landing/approach fees will be invoiced at cost. |
| Fuel |

All
prices include fuel loaded at Bournemouth. A fuel surcharge may be
added if fuel charges vary significantly

| Insurance
|
INCLUDED |
Insurance – There is £1500 insurance excess on multi engine
aeroplanes and £750 insurance excess on single engine aeroplanes.
The cost of the insurance excess may be recovered from the customer
any damage or loss arising in whole or part from the negligence of
the customer. |
| Post Course Skill
Test |

Arrangements for the post course Examiner Acceptance Test may be
made on your behalf, however the costs incurred including aeroplane
hire, test fees and any CAA charges in respect of authorisation
issue are not included in the cost of the course. |
What is NOT included?

Assistance (on request) in making arrangements for suitable
accommodation can be arranged. Accommodation, Travel and subsistence
costs are not included in the course charges and remain the
applicant’s responsibility. |
| Examiner
Acceptance Test Fees – CAA |
NOT
INCLUDED |
CAA Fees for the Examiner Acceptance Tests or observations conducted
by the CAA Examiners or Inspectors for authorisations or
reauthorisations are specified in CAA Scheme of Charges and payable
on application. In addition, should the applicant require the use of
aeroplanes/STD for the Acceptance test this will be charged at cost? |

Training & Charges |

Should an applicant fail to reach the required standard for entry to
the Examiner Acceptance Test we will recommend any additional
training, which may be required in excess of the training package.
Additional training will be agreed with the applicant in advance and
will be charged at the standard rates applicable at the time.
Special arrangements may be made to conduct training at the
applicant’s home base providing suitable (approved) facilities are
available (Classroom, STD and/or Aeroplanes). Travel and related
expenditure including accommodation and a daily subsistence
allowance will be charged. |

| Validity |

Course charges remain valid for a period of 2 months from the date
of the training agreement. Course fees may alter without notice if
costs and charges from suppliers are increased significantly and for
reason outsides our control |
| Payment Terms |
|
A course Registration Fee & Deposit (non returnable if the course is
cancelled within two weeks of start date) of £500 is payable at the
time of booking. Remaining course fee is payable at commencement of
training. A Pro-forma invoice will be forwarded at the time of
course confirmation. Payment shall be by cheque or BCAS transfer. |

Course Enrolment
Courses are normally run
with two applicants to facilitate mutual learning, should a course be
run for an individual it might be necessary to cancel training or adjust
the training costs to reflect the additional input by the course tutor.
This will be agreed at the time of booking.
